Oh what a beautiful morning!

It’s not very often that this late in September we can happily sit out in the garden in the sunshine, this weekend has proven to be just one of those rare occasions.

As you can see I’m having a reading day today, with varying choices of literature!

Hubby and I popped to the supermarket for something tasty for lunch earlier and I decided to treat myself to a craft magazine, the lovely colours on the cover of this months copy of Simply Crochet caught my eye so into the basket it went, I’m always on the lookout for my next project…..well I think I have about five lined up at the mo but you can never have too many ideas can you?!

I’ve also finished reading the fabulous The Red Queen by Phillipa Gregory this morning. I started reading The White Queen just before it was on the bbc a little while ago and it is my new obsession! I love that the red queen is basically the story from the white queen from the other house’s point of view – I found it totally fascinating and can’t wait to start on the next one already! If only history lessons at school had been so intriguing….

I hope the sun is shining where you are, if not I hope you’re having some crafty fun!

Bye for now 🙂

  1. Glad you had a lovely relaxing day. The weather wasn’t that kind to us in Bognor Regis.
Hope the rest of your day carries on the same way.
Looking forward to watching you tomorrow.
