I have been very lucky this Easter, I got to have a sneak peek at and play with some brand new stamp designs from Dreamees. In fact they are so new that they don’t even launch until Friday 25th April at 10am! Tune in to see Carol & Hayley in action but here are my creations for the weekend:
With this first one I wanted to go back to where card making began for me many years ago with just plain card, ink and stamps so everything on here is either inked or stamped, the butterflies are created by stamping 3 and putting them back to back before opening up the centre one and attaching to the card. The painting on the tree is even done with the same Victorian Velvet Distress ink pad
For my next card I got out some of my favourite Tattered Lace dies, the Doily Flourish and the Double Delights Adore and some zingy papers that I’ve had in my stash for years! I also did a little masking on the vase to create the crackle effect using one of the background stamps in the set
And finally I just got inky and messy with my Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and some Stickles glitter glue! I love this bicycle stamp, it’s so summery and cheery, I re-stamped the basket to get the extra flowers and placed them in between the flowers on the original stamped image to fill the basket out even more. As I didn’t have the right colour of card for the matting and layering I used promarkers on the edges and then smudged Stickles over with my finger. I also used promarkers to add some detail to the honeycomb background – another stamp in the set!
All 3 are absolutely fabulous Diane, my favourite If I had to pick would be the 2nd, probable that would be because of the Tattered Lace Dies.

Thanks Janet, I think that might be my fave too although I really did enjoy getting messy with the orange one! x
These are gorgeous Diane, loving the colours and the beautiful stamps. Love how you have used the Tattered Lace dies too!
