Welcome to my world, sometimes a little hectic but a fab place to be!

Did a bit of sewing today…

Have you ever bought something and thought ‘i need somewhere to keep that safe, if only it came with a pouch/cover’?

A couple of weeks ago I treated myself to a pair of Bluetooth headphones for when I’m running. As I’ll be putting them in my kit bag and taking them when we go away on holiday etc I wanted to keep them both safe and clean so I got thinking.

I went into my craft room and sat in the purple chair to draft a design, once I’d worked out my measurements and knew what i wanted it read time to get sewing. I’d already picked out the fabric, the denim was an off cut that was just two inches longer than I needed (phew!!). The lining is a gorgeous quilting cotton that I picked up on the USA last year.

I really enjoyed making this and now know how to make a button hole to fit my button perfectly!!!

Hope you like, ttfn xx

Happy days in Doncaster

Well that’s another Doncaster show over, I hope you enjoyed it if you visited.

It was great to see so many familiar faces and so many new ones too-and all smiling which is great!

It’s hard to say what my favourite part of the show is, meeting everyone, seeing people try something new on a make and take, looking at all the beautiful goodies in the stands, meeting up with fellow exhibitors…. They’re all special for their own reasons.

Here are a few pictures from my day, please share yours🙂

What was your favourite part?

Dreameeeeee flower stamps!

Well I just couldn’t come away from the Summer Crafting show yesterday with the Beautiful Blossoms Stamps from Dreamees and not play with them today!

Can’t show you the rest of the card yet but here is my take on these fab flower stamps!

I stamped them, then embossed with the Tattered Lace Rose Garden Embossing Folder and then after cutting them out I inked them with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink before putting them together and adding some dots of Stickles in the centres.

I promise to show the rest of the card later this week……..

Meet Tatty Twinkle!

Well I hope it’s been as glorious where you are as it was here in Derbyshire today. We managed to eat lunch in the garden and I also did some colouring in the garden today too. Which leads me nicely into a little sneak peek I have for you….

This week I’d like to introduce you to the latest addition to Tattered Lace / Crafting family – Tatty Twinkle…..brought exclusively to us by a very special guest designer she will be launching later this month. Once again when I can share more info I will 🙂

Change of plan / show dates!

Ok so the lovely new Lavish Blooms from Tattered Lace are now launching with the legend that is Nancy Watt on Tuesday night at 9pm on Ideal World. I believe there may be another issue of the magazine launching on this show too………

Mondays 8am launch will be our wonderful new My Paper Stash Blooming Marvellous paper pack which will be showcased by the lovely Liz Curtis

Here is little canvas that I created using paper from Liz’s kit and the dies from Nancy’s! The coloured bits of the flower are the printed sheets from Liz’s kit that I coloured with promarkers for a different look – you still see the pattern through the ink 🙂 ps I even coloured the canvas with a promarker too so that it co-ordinated perfectly too…
